Himilce is coming!
Clean, scrub, organize!
I am so excited my sister in law and little nephew will be here in a couple of days! She is coming to look for a house in AZ! John and I went grocery shopping last night and now we just need to finish a little organizing around our little flat! We are newly weds so we still have boxes and odds and ends that we haven't delt with yet.
I baked some cookies today so she has some yumm's while she's here!
While you are reading this if you could pray that she finds a house that is cheap and cute for her and my brother while she's here so she can sleep at night! That would be wonderful!!!

Finished :(

I finished my book. I read Laura Ingalls Wilder, The Long Winter. Himilce got me interested in Little House On the Prairie. 

 I miss the snow winters in Colorado, so it was cozy reading about Laura and her long winter. I know a lot of you are wishing for nice sunny weather like what we get in Scottsdale AZ. Today our high is going to be 81, but I would love to spend a couple of days in the snowy weather!!

What's New?

Lets see, what's new with me? Well, lately  John and I have been reading out loud together every day! It has been so good because we get to spend time together. We started reading  The Conquest Of Civilization by James Henry Breasted. So far it has been good. We always have things to discuss after each page, how it relates to the Bible and all. I want to start reading the Bible out loud also! It is really nice for me because I love having time to just sit down and talk to John, I guess I get kinda needy that way.

Roman Holiday

John and I watched Roman Holiday the other day! I have watched this film since I was a little girl and have always loved it! John had never seen it before which mad it feel like I was watching it for the first time!

Gentle House

I'm reading this book called Gentle House by Anna Perrott Rose, Himilce you remember this book?. It is a really sweet book. This is the second time I'm reading it and I'm getting so much more out of it. It is a true story about this woman who takes in a Russian orphan  boy during world war two. This boy has so many problems and emotional issues from the war.  I don't think anyone could have helped him but this woman. 

It is a very funny book and very sweet. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in children. I'm going to miss it when I'm finished. Does anyone have any book recommendations for me?

Garage Sailing!!

This morning John and I went Garage sailing! We found a bunch of steals! Children's books, history books, lots of candles! I found this sweet picture for 3 dollars! John got a world globe for 4 dollars! A really nice Yankee Candle for a dollar! I found a baby Einstein movie for my sister Himilce's little boy who loves baby Einstein movies! They are really expensive in the store, I got it for 3 dollars. We had so much fun today!!
