Here are some pictures of the house we are going to rent! The inside is my favorite!
I love the wood floors and the fire place! I told Jonathan that if we like living in it, it would be nice if they would sell it to us!

It is nice to be back in Phoenix with Jonathan! I missed him so much. We went to our churches Christmas production last night! It was so good! Himilce was in it and it was fun to see her! Every year our church has amazing Christmas productions! Flying angles, a singing Christmas tree, live animals, horses, sheep, camels, even an elephant! Last year Jonathan and I went to Broadway on our honeymoon in NY and we saw Marry Poppins, when we got back home it was during the Christmas production and we were amazed to realize that it was so much better than Broadway and we didn't have to pay 50 dollars!

Fun Day Out!

Elizabeth and I met with our long time childhood friend Holly who is getting Married in January! We got to give her a wedding present because we both won't be able to make her happy day! We were supposed to meet at Star Bucks but I got really hungry so we went to Sam's club and ate at their little deli, we had pizza and ice cream! Then we walked around shopping and trying samples :) That is my favorite part!

Elizabeth and I got to shop a little today and we had so much fun together!
We each tried on hats at Koals! Hats are such a down fall for us! We don't wear them too much but we love shopping for a new one!
This one is very cute but I'm not sure if I could really wear it!!
Later this evening we all got to see our sweet little Olechka play basket ball at her school! Her team did really well! The score was 39 to 28
Olga is number 22

2 Months and 3 Weeks Pregnant!!

I finally got my internet to accept my pictures! Here is one of me taken this evening!

Moving!!!

John's job at Met Life has closed out its office in Phoenix because of the current economy. All of John's co-workers last day is December 31. God has certainly been looking after us because John is the only employee who didn't lose his job! Since the company is closing out in phoenix, Met Life is sending John and I to Dayton, OH next month! They recognize what a great worker John is and they don't want to lose him!
No Christmas decorating for me this year :( John starts work the 1st of January. When I get home it looks like boxes and clean out for me!! I am really sad to leave my sisters Elizabeth and Himilce.

I am excited to live in a new area though! Were looking at houses to rent right now and every house we find is adorable! I will post some pictures when we decide on which one we can afford! Maybe I will put up our little christmas tree when we move in to our new home. We can enjoy it for a week or two, even if it is after christmas!

Christmas Joy!

Hi everyone! I have so much to write about and I don't know where to begin. I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was blessed with joy! It was so cozy here with my family! I woke up and discovered it was snowing outside my window! Dad had started a lovely fire in our stove that heats the whole house! I wasn't sick, which I was happy about on this very happy day! Mom maid pirozhkies (Russian pies with meats and mushrooms inside. We added chocolate to some, he he!) The kids introduced us to this yummy treat 2 1/2 years ago and it has been a family tradition ever since.  We all sat around knitting and playing poker and later took a walk in the snow with the two dogs and the cat! The meal was a great anticipation for me! I have been eating my parents out of house and home!
For some reason I am not able to post pictures here, but when I get a chance I will update everyone on my tum tum! It is just now starting to peak out! I'm not as tired any more, so that is a blessing! I envy my sister Elizabeth's energy! She can just spring up the stairs with no effort at all. I have to huff and puff my way up the stairs and then take a little rest on my parents bed. When I go down the stairs I have to find the nearest chair. Elizabeth has been my slave! She cleans my messes up and gets me food or whatever I need! My mom's cooking has been heaven! I am coming home next Tuesday! I am so excited to see my Jonathan! I have never been away from him this long and I can't wait to kiss him and hug him and call him George!!!! My trip has been so much fun! Mom took us girls antique shopping on Saturday, we have been watching Christmas movies every night! The XM radio has been playing Christmas carols to get us all into the season! I wish everyone A Very Merry Christmas!!

It has been so nice being here for the holidays with the family! I hope everyone is doing well. I'm sorry  I haven't been able to check up on all of my blogging friends :( When I get more time and more internet I will be seeing you! Love you all!!

Nothing But the Blood of Jesus

This song has been giving me so much comfort this last week! I have had a really hard week and when I put this song on it has lifted my spirits to trust in the Lord and not to give into worry. I know that my life can't be perfect but Jesus is here and He can wash away all sin.

Baby Check Up!

Well, I had my ultra sound this morning and it looks like I'm not as far along as I had thought. My cycles are very irregular so I must have gotten pregnant later in the month. I couldn't see the little peanut but I got to see the placenta sack which was very healthy. I go in next Friday and hopefully I will get to see the baby and hear the heart beat! I have been feeling pretty good. I have been really hungry. Besides feeling really tired which  I have been getting a nap in the afternoons and my nose which has been smelling very nasty odors! I haven't been that sick yet, so I hope I will pass that bad part of the pregnancy:) My pants have shrunk in the legs and bottom and have grown really tight in the waist and hips! I hope to write more later!

Oh yes, my dear sister Katheryn just found out she's pregnant also! She's on her 5th baby! I have a long ways to go to catch up to her:) Congratulations Katheryn! I'm so happy we get to be pregnant together!!!!

The prodigal Came Home

I'm updating from my last post and it is most excellent news! Maxam came home!! I can not believe it! He was staying at the neighbors next door!! John came home the other night and found the family going door to door asking if this cat belonged to anyone! Maxam was just walking with the family happily!

When I opened the garage door to let John in, he pulled me out and made me close my eyes. When I opened them there was sweet Maxim eating his food.

Thank you Lord! I love you:) Thank you all for your loving comments! I really appreciate your concern and care!!

Sad Day

Yesterday was a sad day for me. I woke up and found that one of our kitties was missing. He must have slipped through the garage the night before. I walked through our community complex calling for him all day. I left the garage door open just in case he would come back. I have lost kitties in the past but never felt so broken hearted about it. This time I couldn't stop crying. I tried to shake the weepy feeling but it was extremely difficult.

Himilce was so sweet. She came over and cheered me up. She gave me a sweet present, a little baby calendar that had an ink pad so I could mark the baby's progress  and she gave me her boots that I had always  loved! It was nice to get out of the house and shop at the GoodWill with Himilce, Thank you Himilce!!! I was feeling much better when I got home.

When John got home, his sympathy over the kitty made me cry again. He printed up "missing Kitty" papers and left them all over our complex! He took me out to chinese to cheer up this starving, emotional, pregnant woman! I'm feeling much better today.
My prayer for Maxim is that someone will take care of him as we did Sevetta!

Knitting!

When I went back home last week My mom took me and my sister Olga to a knitting class. I have been wanting to knit for a very long time but I have always been intimidated to learn, thinking it was very difficult. I learned how to crochet when I was a little girl and I have made all kinds of blankets and such but I have always wanted to learn to knit! I found that two hours in a knitting class can teach me how to cast on, knit, pearl and cast off! Thanks so much Mom!!!

I think I am 6 weeks pregnant! I am going to schedule a doctors appointment soon so I will know how far along I am!! I'm really excited that Himilce and I are so close together with our pregnancies!!!

Sarah-Cuda

If you're a woman and like to hunt game with a bow, Lakota Industries has come out with a new product called the Sarah-Cuda: a bow designed specifically for women.

It's a formidable looking weapon, to say the least; not much less so by virtue of being pink. Lakota says:

The Sarah-Cuda is a tribute to women everywhere who embrace the sport of archery and bow hunting. Women who face the challenges of adversity and demonstrate the courage and strength to survive in today's world, yet have the caring heart and tenderness of good wives, mothers, sisters and daughters. ...
Lakota Industries, Inc. has designed this magnificent bow to show our appreciation and to recognize Sarah Palin and her historic achievement. It is also a tribute to America's hard working women and to further promote the attitude and philosophy that Sarah Palin has demonstrated throughout her life. Lakota Industries will donate 10% of the proceeds from the sale of these beautifully handcrafted bows to the National Association for Down Syndrome.

Autumn Days

Yesterday I met Jonathan on his lunch break. We went and had a little picnic under a nice tree at a school park! I bought some nice bread buns and some turkey meat with orange juice and a nice little coffee cake! It was very delightful! My phone plays music so it was nice  having some music! Latter John and I practiced cartwheels in the grass! It is starting to feel like fall over here just a little bit. The heat has gone down. The high yesterday was 103 but it feels a lot cooler now! I wish it was like this photo above, I do envy all of you who do get all the seasons! I hope you all are having a wonderful Autumn day:)

Doctors Visit!

Well, I went to my gynecologist today for my check up! I had to reschedule my appointment for today, thats why I hadn't written anything about it. It went very well! I love my doctor. She was very down to earth! I first thought she was the nurse because she was so young. I left her office feeling relieved that it was over but also happy that I had conquered my fear of this  particular visit! Thank you all for your sweet comments in my previous post about this subject! It wasn't as bad as I had feared, which is the result of most fears I find!

Delightful Days

I have been enjoying my stay house sitting for my grandparents! The days feel so relaxing and long here. I think because I don't feel the rush of the city and I get to have a lot more room to myself than what we have at our little flat. I have been enjoying garden tea time in the mornings and the afternoons! The birds and butterflies are my company! The sunshine seems so much sweeter and refreshing out here! The puppies have been fun to watch and love on! I know they miss their mama! Kathy is such a great gardener! Her back yard and garden is so beautiful and the front garden is amazing! I have enjoyed this little world and I'm not sure if I am ready to leave it :(

Billy: The Early Ears

Our church hosted the premier of Billy the Early Years Last night and i have to say it was very good! I didn't know how good it would be but I was surprised! When it comes out in theaters be sure to watch it! :)

Rush Is On The Dot!

BIDEN: How is it that the Democratic Party, the party of ethnics basically, how did my party get to be the party of anti-God? How did that happen? I'll tell you how it happened. We Democrats became afraid to talk about faith. We're uncomfortable talking about it. The elites of my party. The elitists of my party took over. I can hardly wait for one of these guys on the other side tell me about family values. I can hardly wait for them to tell me, a guy that's communicated everyday for 34 years to be home to put my kid to bed, I can hardly wait for them to tell me, married to the same woman 30 years, after they've been divorced three times, what values are. I can hardly wait for this to happen.

RUSH: I'm sorry, I can't do anything but laugh. (laughing) And it's not that I'm losing my mind or giddy. I find this genuinely funny, because, senator, let me tell you about the faith business. Your base, the base of your party, the kook fringe, lunatic base and many of what you would call mainstream in your party, hate religion. They're scared of it. They're scared of the faith that people have in God. And I think one of the efforts behind much of liberalism is to wipe out as much as possible of God from American society anywhere they can.

RUSH: I'll tell you what, Joe Biden, I know you're not listening, but the word will get to you. You know what your real problem, pal, is with this values business? He asked, "What in the hell happened to us on the values? What happened to the Democrat Party? I'll tell you what happened. Too many elites in our party." You can't talk about religion. You people cannot justify any religious discussion when you are pro-abortion, when you are going to make the sacrament to liberalism something like abortion, and you're going to support wild, extremist feminazis who make every abortion a political statement and cause, you are canceled out, you're canceling yourself out when you start running around talking about religious issues and faith. You talk about Big Government, not God, liberal Democrats appoint judges who push God out of the public square. And then you run around and you shout pro-choice, which means pro-abortion, then you want people to think you have values, when the number one right, that sanctity of life is something that cannot be trusted with your party, Joe? The right to life cannot be trusted in your party. A baby in the womb is at risk with your party. And you want to run around and talk about values and why the country says you don't have values? Why you have to run around to union members, "they attack our values, not gonna take it anymore." This is why Biden is losing the Catholic vote for his candidate, Obama.

New Book

Elizabeth finished David McCullough's book on Truman and is letting me  borrow it. I am excited because I didn't want to rent it from the library because I would have to renew it for like a year! It took Elizabeth a year to read and I don't know how long it will take me. I loved reading John Adams by David McCullough and 1776 so I have been eager to begin this one! I got to hear David McCullough speak when I lived in Colorado last year! He was so wonderful! I was so  honored to hear him and to get his signature on one of my books!

I watched it a long time a go but could barely remember it. I'm so glad I watched it again! Make sure you have tissues on hand :)

Off To Grandpas House We Go

Jonathan and I are house sitting for my grandparents for the next two weeks! They are going on a European cruise and need us to watch their pets! We love house sitting for them because they live out of the city, in a beautiful house with a lovely yard! Its like a vacation for us when we go!

To Do List:
  1.  Clean our little flat so when we return its clean and cozy. Nothing more depressing returning to a messy house.
  2. Pack up kitties and Mr. Turtle (He's coming also!!)
  3. Figure out what to do with our outside plants. Too expensive to drive home everyday to water.
  4. Make dinner for Jonathan and make sure to enjoy my Saturday with him:)
4:00 Tea Time sounds good this afternoon with my little children's book I got for a quarter this morning at a yard sale. Beverly Cleary is one of my favorite children's Authors. I have never read Socks before :)

Happy Saturday to all of my blogging friends!!!

Late Night of Home Work

Its Friday night and Jonathan is studying for his math test for tomorrow morning. 10:44 and we are having tea and tuna sandwiches! I found this blog searching for a picture on google and this girl made a beautiful peach cobbler! It got me up out of my seat to do the same! I found a white cake mix and a can of apricots. I just finishing making this peach cobbler (dump cake) I used my little red ramekins! Hopefully it tastes alright! The house is starting to smell of something yummy! I am enjoying my time with Jonathan. He is doing full time school and has his full time job. I don't get to see him that much any more. Just in the early mornings and the late evenings.
