Baby Shower # 2

Julie is throwing me a Baby shower this Sunday. It is going to be at her house and I feel so honored for her taking so much time and effort out for me and the baby.
I had to post the invitations she sent out. They are so elegant!

New Look

We took Seveta to the groomers today. This is her before picture.
And this is her After pictures! I started laughing when she came out of her cage. She looked so completely different. I don't know if you can see her tail and lion neck. Her little booties look so cute also!

The other two cats didn't believe it was her. They would not stop following her around.

Great Book

I have been enjoying The Tenant of Wildfell Hall this last week. My sister Elizabeth watched the movie and told me it was really good, I realized I owned the book so I started it and yes it is really good! I highly recommend it for you book worms out there :)

House Hunting

Jon and I have been in the process of trying to buy our first home. We have been struggling with the fact of paying someone el's mortgage through renting. Instead of paying our monthly rent in to some equity for us later. Our lease is up in late June and we don't really want to sign a 18 month lease. Yesterday we went with our realtor to look at houses in our price range. House after house was a dud. The second to last house that was on our list to see is this dear house I have below. We loved it so much that we felt like we didn't want to see anymore. We still did and just wasn't satisfied at what we saw. We made an offer on the house yesterday and we heard this morning that it was accepted!! Now we are just waiting to see if we will get approved for a loan. I thought I would post these pictures of the house. If we don't get approved for a loan then this house will just be a happy dream to me :) I am praying that the Lord will allow us to get approved though.

This is the front of the house. It has a one car garage, a back yard with a fence. The living room is a good size, the fire place is in good condition and I love the front door.
This room below is the one of three rooms. It is on the main level and it connects to the kitchen and the living room. It will probably be Jon's office.
These stairs are so sweet, they go all the way up and turn at the top where the two bedrooms are. Bellow is the dinning room. It is really big with beautiful windows and a gorgeous chandelier.

I love the window that you meet coming up the stairs. It looks out into the back yard. The pictures below are the two bedrooms. The one with the chair is a little smaller than the Master bedroom and will be the baby's room.

I love the Kitchen, It has great windows and beautiful spacious counter tops! It also has a little breakfast nook!

Baby Dresser

I got this Dresser at the Goodwill for $40
I went to check the Goodwill on my way to Sam's Club and I found this piece and the longer dresser that goes with it, (I didn't get that one) I put my name on this one just before a lady came to snatch it up:) She got the other one. I'm so happy about this dresser because It looks old and in good shape and also goes with the baby theme which is Safari.

Baby Shower Pictures

I finally got these pictures up for you all to see. This was such a fun baby shower. We had the funniest games and the food was amazing! Everyone was so generous and creative! You can see one of the games was to measure the tummies of us three mommies. Himilce and I got pictures of us pregnant together, I am disappointed I didn't get any together with Katheryn. My sister Elizabeth made the cakes. One beautiful little girl cake, two boy cakes. We got to take home the little images on the cake.

Tea and Scones

I am still here I have just been out of the blogging zone lately. I have a lot of posts to post but not much blogging energy. Our internet was off for a little but now it is up and operating.

I have been busy researching a little Tea and Scone business for myself. I started wanting to sell cupcakes at a local Farmer's Market, when I went down to it last week to scope it out I realized I need to make something a little more authentic. John helped submit my Vendors application today and I hope to hear if I have been approved as a qualified vendor! I am testing out my scones this week to see if they are any good :) If I get approved and the Vendors Insurance isn't too much money I will hopefully start selling Scones and Tea every Saturday!
I hope everyone is well and had a wonderful Easter celebrating Christ Resurrection!

Isn't this interesting! A little too familiar.

Home Again

I' m sorry it has taken me so long to get back to writing. I have had a full week! I am happy to say that the Baby Shower was so much fun. It was hard leaving everyone again. The week went way too fast for me. I am excited to get back home and into my little grove again. I hope you all are enjoying the spring. The grass is getting long out here and were starting to see blossoms on the trees.
The shower was so much fun. You wouldn't believe it but I left my camera behind. I was so upset. I am going to wait for my sister and mom to send me some pictures so I can post them. I have been having so much fun putting our little baby's room together now that I'm home. Everyone showered me with beautiful gifts. I will start taking pictures and post all the little items we got for our little guy. I'm not sure if I had posted yet about what we were going to name the baby. We have decided on Zane Wesley. Zane means God is gracious. I have never heard that name before except the author Zane Grey.
Jon and I have also decided to have the baby at home. We asked our Chiropractor if he knew any midwives and he recommended someone for us. We are really excited about this. We are looking into a water birth also. I will post more info later when I have it :)
