The Young Victoria

Jon and I rented The Young Victoria last night from red box. I was excited but also a little worried the movie wouldn't be up to my high standing. I was very surprised that it was so lovely. Something I wouldn't mind owning myself. I don't want to hype it up for those of you who haven't seen it yet but I could easily watch it again and enjoy it just as much or perhaps even more. The acting was very good and I thought Prince Albert and young Victoria did a most excellent job. Writing this makes me want to watch it again LOL!
Wishing you all a most wonderful day :)
So much Love

Makeup and Tea

Our Makeup Day was very lovely last Saturday. We planned on having more ladies but alas, only a few showed up. Just enough for me and Elizabeth :) The ladies were so much fun. We all had a blast drinking tea, talking and dabbling with makeup. They really liked the makeup and the way they looked after their makeovers and are sending their friends our way.
Our dear friend Jodi came just to help and support. I was so thankful for having her because she kept the tea hot and piping and the baby happy. Thank you so much Jodi for being such a sister to Elizabeth and I. Your friendship is so valuable to me.

Enchanted April

I have been in agony trying to find this movie for the last 2 years. My grandma had owned it by VHS but they never made it into a Dvd. I couldn't rent it anywhere or watch it on Netflix because of this problem. I read the book last year and I loved the story even more. Last night I was wishing we could watch Enchanted April,  Jon just typed in "free movies" and he found Enchanted April!! Here is the Link if you would like to watch it.

Great Movie

I just watched this movie. I have wanted to read the book for some time but gave in and watched the movie first, I'm glad I did. It was very good, I was surprised it was so good! Now I will have to read it. Charlton Heston did a superb job !

I have been away too long. I wanted to post some of the cake pictures but I forgot my camera at the birthday party, Jonathan was able to take a few with his phone. Once he gets a chance to send them to my email I will post them.
This last week has been a little busy, getting ready for the phoenix trip, doing laundry, nothing too exciting. I  rearranged the basement a few days ago, I'm not so scared to go down there now :)
Sorry about my tardiness everyone, I hope you all have a very blessed weekend!

Movie Night With Bear Grylls

Jonathan and I watched Man Vs. Wild last night for our Movie Night! We love Bear Grylls! He is so crazy!! The stunts that he risks. I love all the traveling he does! My favorite is his Alaska trip! My second is when he goes to Scotland. My brother introduced us to him on Youtube and now we are ordering  Man Vs. Wild from Netflix since we don't get cable. We love his English accent and all his expressions! The video above are all his survival stunts to show you what to do if you happen to find yourself in a bad situation.

Movie Night!

Jonathan and I had our movie night the other night. We watched Audrey Hepburn and Carrie Grant in Charade. It was a good mystery! Jonathan is usually good at predicting movies and figuring out the mystery but he couldn't crack this case!

Our quest!!!

Jonathan, and I have started a new movie quest. We started watching The Lord of the Rings series! I love this series but Jonathan has never quite understood the movies. I have been trying to set a good atmosphere for him so he could get a cozy, exciting and intriguing picture of the story. He always fell asleep when he watched them in the theater which to me is horrible! So each time we watch them, I'm going to try and make it really exciting for him. I'll light candles and turn the lights out, keep tea and toast near by so we feel like Hobbits. Last night we watched the first CD of the first fellow ship of the ring and John didn't want to stop. He understood more about the story because I helped him with some of the history behind the story. Tonight will be CD part two! Hopefully He will keep a good momentum. If he doesn't end up liking them then I shall be utterly dismayed and sadden beyond belief! Just kidding!!!

Jonathan and I watched a movie a couple of nights ago called Mr. Smith goes t0 Washington. Its a 1939 classic by Frank Capra, (Its a wonderful life) staring Jimmy Stewart and Jean Arthur.  I had seen it before but it had been a while, Jonathan had never seen it. We loved it!  I recommend it to anyone. Its a good movie to watch right before all the upcoming presidential elections!
