Gentle House

I'm reading this book called Gentle House by Anna Perrott Rose, Himilce you remember this book?. It is a really sweet book. This is the second time I'm reading it and I'm getting so much more out of it. It is a true story about this woman who takes in a Russian orphan  boy during world war two. This boy has so many problems and emotional issues from the war.  I don't think anyone could have helped him but this woman.
It is a very funny book and very sweet. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in children. I'm going to miss it when I'm finished. Does anyone have any book recommendations for me?

You have such a great book collection! (or maybe it's your sister...gotta get that chart):-)

Anyway, I'm finishing Laura Bush now and have chosen My Life in France-Julia Child, as my next book. I've read the forward and can't wait to dig in!

What kinds of books do you like?

Yes, I do remember that book. You're lucky you got it back! I almost stole it ;P Your mom had left it over here for a while. Too bad we can't find anymore of her books. BTW, right now, I'm hooked on Laura Ingalls Wilder. I read them as a child but had no idea how much I would enjoy them as an adult.
