A Lovely Weekend!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post about Valentine's Day. I had the best of fun! Jonathan made me the best dinner, shrimp over noodles and cream sauce! We later played monopoly until very late into the night! We have been playing this game for the last week, just can't get enough of it :) John liked his card I made him. I had so much fun making it! Lots of love went into that silly little card :)

My Tea party was a smash! I loved all the ladies, we just talked and talked as we made our Valentine Cards! The time flew by and I'm sure we could have chatted more if we had more time!
I made a Red Velvet Cake for Saturday. It was very interesting. I completely flopped the first cake. My second one was alright. I think it looks good but I didn't care to much for the taste. I want to improve this cake later. The filling was a cream cheese frosting. I took the crumbs of the cake and sprinkled them all over it, which made it look very pinkish! My blueberry scones came out pretty good. I love having scones around the house. I can always eat them for breakfast :) I also made cucumber sandwiches for the party!

Everything looks delicious. I love scones as well. They are always so moist and delicious. Mmmm. Wish I could have been at the tea party, but with my appetite and my 4 blessings, I am not sure there would have been much left. :) I love seeing the pic of you and Jonathan. I love seeing love. :)
