Remembering Christ

Easter Sunday was one of sickness for me. We were all too sick to go to church and remember our Lord and his resurrection. We were able to have a nice breakfast that Benjamin made for the sis and I. We had pancakes and eggs with orange juice and steaming hot tea.
Because we missed Sunday morning service we watched the Passion of the Christ that evening. Such an amazing movie for those of you who haven't watched this piece of art. I have watched this several times and each time I watch it it blesses me in so many ways all over again.
I loved these verses from this song In Christ I Stand as I think of Christ's resurrection on the 3rd day.

In Christ alone who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless babe This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save Till on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious day Up from the grave He rose again And as He stands in victory Sin's curse has lost its grip on me For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me From life's first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand Till He returns or calls me home Here in the power of Christ I'll stand
Tonight I am so excited to be arriving home to my honey man.
I have missed him so much this last week.
Much Love

Dearest Marie, I hope your trip with your sweet teething baby went by quickly and was uneventful! May the upcoming days be filled with a sweet reunion with Jon and getting your home back in order for your dear family. :)

I loved the pictures and the post sweetie. So nice. I loved seeing the words of the song printed out. There is something powerful in reading ir like that. Oh, and that grand baby is so doggone cute.:) Well, you are home safe and sound; I know it is a bittersweet thing going home. Its always wonderful to be back in your own bed in your own home especially with your own sweet hubby waiting there for you; but its alway sad to have to leave sister and cousin. Makes me sad thinking of it.
Love you

Thank you all for your sweet comments. I am safe and sound happy to be back with my Man. I do love a long visit away and I do love returning home. I love you all. Many blessings!

P.S. Thank you Meredith and Ashleigh for your compliments about my photography. I am still completely unaware of how to operate this camera correctly. Wanting to take some classes to correct my ignorance LOL! Your kind words mean a lot to me. Love you girls.
