Saturday morning Elizabeth and I drove over to the church for Elizabeth's baby shower. The church was so good to throw a baby shower for Elizabeth. Our friend Julie made the cake which was an art piece and I wish I could frame it. She used the tea set pattern that Elizabeth and I love so much as her design.
Little baby Winston slept through his baby shower.
Zane had fun playing with Aunty Jodi and also discovering new toys that other babies had brought to play with.
Elizabeth is now in Jacksonville getting settled with Benjamin and the baby, they left Saturday evening.
Zane misses his cousin. He loved touching and kissing baby Winston. I think we need to get him a baby brother :)
We sure are missing Elizabeth, but I am happy that she is with Benjamin and baby. I can't wait to visit their new home and new state.
We miss you cousin Winston and Sister Elizabeth we love you so much.
Many blessings and wishes on your new Journey along side your amazing hubby.

It was so lovely to talk to you over tea on Friday, Marie! You and Elizabeth are such dear sisters to me.
What an AMAZING cake your friend made! It is so perfect.
I am praying for you, dear Marie, as you adjust to your life without Elizabeth and Winston there! I'm so glad you have Zane to keep you company during the days until Jon comes home.
OH, Stephen got confirmation of the flat we will be staying in at Oxford and he took tons of pictures for me over the weekend!! I can't wait to send them to you both soon. It is so exciting to think about how I can make it into a cozy home for us. It is very cluttered and messy right now but has tons of potential.
Oh my goodness Meredith, your news is so delightful. I am anxious to see the pictures of your flat. I know that you have an artful eye to decorating and I am so excited to see you make your soon to be 'new' home in England. You fulfill such a happy dream in my mind. I would love to make over an Oxford flat. I am excited for you and Stephen. What happy memories you will make in your early married years. Such memories you two will always love to look back and remember. I think it is such a good thing for a man and wife to live away by themselves for awhile to cling to each other and the Lord.
Thank you for your prayers. I appreciate them. I am missing Elizabeth already but I know that the Lord has blessed me with her these last months and I have tried to prepare myself for when she would leave. Jon and I have been redoing the baby's room, painting it and rearranging the furniture. Busyness is sometimes the cure for sorrow:)
Wow what a beautiful cake sweetie! Pass along to Julie that I think she is an amazing artist,(You ought to post a picture of Julie) I am so impressed. It was great to see the pictures of the shower. I loved seeing Jodi too. I love reading all the comments, and it is a delight getting little tid-bits of all of your lives this way. Nice to read Meredith's news, ( I had the sweetest comment from her as well) She's precious. I had a nice catch-up with Elizabeth this morning, and she sounded really good! I hope you're feeling better. I'll give you a call tomorrow.
