Elizabeth got me hooked to Nigella Lawson from the Food Network! I watched her all night last night! I had to bake something after all that information overload! I baked one of her chocolate cakes to day and I have to say it looks quite delicious!!

Oh my word,it was delicious! And beautiful =)
Mmm... that looks good! I baked a chocolate cake last weekend and it was SO dry... It was just terrible! I'd love your recipe if you get the chance... But don't worry if you're too busy!
Please enjoy Meredith and tell me how yours comes out!!! I do have to say that I wish I had added a little bit moor sour cream because my cake wasn't as moist as I had hoped!
Chocolate Cake:
1 and half cups flour.
1 cup sugar
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
2 t. vanilla
2/3 cup sour cream
1 stick and half butter must be soft.
1/3 cup really good coca powder
2 eggs
Process everyting in a mixer. Pour in two round baking pans and place in oven for 350 degrees for almost a half hour.
Chocolate Cake Frosting
6 ounces of swimie sweet chocolate. Melt in a pot with 3/4 stick butter. Add 1Tablespoon Corn syrup. add 1 t. vanilla. Half cup sour cream, Then add 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar. mix all together with electric mixer or food processor and spread frosting on the first cake then after that place your other cake on top of the first and spread the rest all over cake. Have fun girlie!
Oh, thanks so much! I am going to print this recipe off too! You should consider being on a cooking show... lol :)
Now I'm just gonna have to decide whether I want to try out this cake later this week or another pie using your advice for the crusts... hmm... I may end up doing both!
Talk to you later!
