At The Sea Side:
When I was down beside the sea
A wooden spade they gave me
to dig the sandy shore.
My holes were empty like a cup.
In every hole the sea came up,
Till it could no more.
* Robert Louis Stevenson
Bed In Summer:
In winter I get up at night
In winter I get up at night
And dress by candle light.
In summer quite the other way,
I have to go to bed by day.
I have to go to bed and see
The birds still hopping on the tree,
Or hear the grown - up people's feet
Still going past me in the street.
And does it not seem hard to you,
When all the sky is clear and blue,
And I should like to so much to play,
To have to go to bed by day?
* Robert Louis Stevenson

LOL very cute! :)
What a cutie!! I love sleeping babies. They are little angels. So cute. I love all the sweet pics.
Ha ha Thanks Amber,
Thanks Katheryn,
Sleeping babies are heavenly. Their eye lids and soft breathing brings such a soothing and calming feeling to me. Children are certainly one of God's greatest gifts.
How sweet!!! I love this post! The sepia beach pictures are so creative and Zane, as always, is just precious. With your new camera and your blog's name on each of your pictures, you look like you are about to become the next Resolved 2 Worship!! :)
Oh my goodness, what precious pictures. I love the little Robert Louis Stevenson verses that you put with them. Its so sweet, like a story book.
I have a feeling, in years to come, you will especially treasure that second picture. We don't often take pictures of our crying children - I don't anyway - but that picture grabs me in a unique way. Maybe I'll whip out my camera the next time I see my Shav crying. :)
Your right Davene,
His little face melts my heart too. :( I had to post this picture some reason.
I love you Mom, you are always so sweet and encouraging. Thanks so much for the lovely comment.
Meredith,
You sure make me feel good. But I don't know if I agree with you. Lol!
Love you
Marie
What a precious post Marie! I love that little Zane he is so sweet. The poems are so sweet and remind me of how I hated going to bed in the summertime when I was little. I thought it was truly rediculous to go to bed when the sun was still shining.
Love and miss you!
Ps. I do agree with Meredith
Love, Jodi
Jodi, I remember that too! It WAS truly ridiculous, I have to ignore my feelings when I hear Zane crying when he has to go down for bedie bye. He sure knows how to break my heart in two. LOL!
LOVE you so much dear sister.
